2580 – Light/Medium Duty Reinforced Water Activated Tape

Typical Applications:
Reinforced paper gummed tape for sealing light to medium duty applications subjected to usual shipping hazards and stress. Works well on recycled and virgin fiber corrugate, up to 30 lbs carton weight.

Description
Backing:		3-way fiberglass laminated between 2 sheets of 23# kraft paper with a non-asphaltic, water-resistant, flexible, and non-staining amorphous polyolefin based adhesive. Glass fibers in the machine direction average no more than 5/8″ apart. Glass fibers in the cross-machine direction are arranged in a diamond pattern with the spacing between the parallel sides of the diamond averaging not more than 1 1/4″.

Applications & Operating Conditions:
Not intended for use on clay coated, wax coated or plastic boxes. Ideal storage conditions: 60-70°F with relative humidity 40-50%. The tape should be used within 1 year of the date of shipment.
